EN ROUTE:
Depart via over night flight to Istanbul, Turkey. |

ISTANBUL:
Arrive at Istanbul AtatUrk Airport, where you will be met by our
representatives and escorted to your hotel. Briefing and welcome
cocktail at the hotel. Evening at leisure. |
| 3rd Day |
ISTANBUL / ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA (172 miles):
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your
one-hour flight to Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. Visit the
Anatolian Civilizations Museum and the Mausoleum of Mustafa
Kemal Ataturk, founder of modern Turkey. Lunch in Ankara. Then,
drive to Cappadocia with its spectacular landscape. |

CAPPADOCIA (75 miles):
Visit the citadel of Uchisar, Goreme Valley, Zelve and Avanos.
Visit the underground city of Kaymakli or Dennkuyu. Lunch.
Return to the hotel. |

CAPPADOCIA / KONYA / ANTALYA (324 miles):
Departure to visit the underground city of Kaymaldi or Derinkuyu.
Then drive to the holy city of Konya. Lunch. Visit the shrine of
Mevlana Celalleddin Rumi, who inspired the rituals of the “Whirling
Dervishes”. Drive, passing the Taurus Mountains and continue to
Antalya, the capital of the Turquoise coast on the Mediterranean Sea.

ANTALYA (PERGE / ASPENDOS / SIDE)
(62 miles):
Full-day tour of the Pamphylian cities of Perge, Aspendos and
Side with their impressive ruins: Great Theatre, Stadium and the
huge Hellenistic and Roman Gates of Perge, then drive to Aspendos
to see the best preserved Roman theater. On the way to Side, visit
the Manavgat waterfalls. Lunch. Return to Antalya. |

ANTALYA I PAMUKKALE (161 miles):
Morning departure for Pamukkale passing over the Bey Mountains.
Lunch en route. Afternoon, arrival at Pamukkale, a noted spa.
After checking into the hotel, enjoy a swim at the hotel’s pool.

PAMUKKALE / HIERAPOLIS / APHRODISIAS /
KUSADASI (238 miles):
Morning, visit the ruins of the magnificent Temple of Apollo, the
fascinating Necropolis and the great baths of Hierapolis. Lunch.
Departure for Aphrodisias with its well preserved stadium, agora
and an outstanding museum. Drive to Kusadasi. |

KUSADASI / EPHESUS / IZMIR / (106 miles):
Departure for the tour of Ephesus, a well-preserved ancient city
dedicated to Artemis. Visit the ruins from the period of St. Paul,
Odeon, Monumental Fountains, Great Theater, Double Church, and
Stadium. Lunch. Visit the Archaeological Museum, Basilica of St.
John and his Tomb, the Temple of Diana and the Shrine of Virgin
Mary, where she spent the last years of her life. Continue to Jzmir.

IZMIR / PERGAMON / TROY / CANAKKALE (200 miles):
Depart for
Pergamon, drive along the Aegean coast.
Visit the Acropolis, Temple of Athena,
Dionysus, the Altar of Zeus and the
Asclepion. Lunch. Continue to Canakkale.
On the way visit Troy, the legendary city of
beautiful Helen and the Wooden Horse.

CANAKKALE / GALLIPOLI / ISTANBUL (203 miles):
Drive to Gallipoli,
crossing from Asia to Europe. Visit the
Anzac Bay and Memorials dedicated to one
of the fiercest battles of World War I. Return
to Istanbul. Evening at leisure.

ISTANBUL:
Depart the
hotel in the morning for a cruise on the
Bosphorus, which separates Europe and Asia.
Lunch. Drive over the Bosphorus Bridge to
Camlica Hill, on the Asian side. Then visit
Beylerbeyi Palace, summer residence of the
Ottoman Sultans. Shopping at the fisher-
men’s village, near the Palace. Evening at
leisure.Ovemight in Istanbul.

ISTANBUL:
Depart the
hotel for a full-day tour. Visit the
Hippodrome where chariot races took place
during the Roman period. Proceed to the
Blue Mosque and the St. Sophia. Later visit
the Topkapi Palace, and its treasures. Lunch.
In the afternoon visit the Mosque of
Suleyman the Magnificent. Stop at the
Grand Bazaar for shopping. Evening at
leisure.
