EN ROUTE:
Depart via over night flight to Istanbul, Turkey. |

ISTANBUL:
Arrive at Istanbul AtatUrk Airport, where you will be
met by our representatives and escorted to
your hotel. |
| 3rd Day |
ISTANBUL:
Departure for a
full day tour. Visit the Hippodrome where
chariot races took place during the Roman
Period. Proceed to the Blue Mosque and the
St. Sophia. Later visit the Topkapi Palace,
and its treasures. Lunch. Visit the Mosque of
Suleyman the Magnificent in the afternoon
then stop at the high quality shopping cen-
ters in the vicinity of the Grand Bazaar.
Evening at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul. |

ISTANBUL / ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA (172 miles):
In the morning,
transfer to the airport for your one-hour
flight to Ankara, the capital city of Turkey.
Visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum
and the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal
Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey.
Lunch. Drive to Cappadocia with its spec-
tacular landscape. |

CAPPADOCIA (75 miles):
Visit the citadel of Uchisar, Goreme Valley,
Zelve and Avanos. Lunch. Visit the under-
ground city of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu.

CAPPADOCIA / ANTAKYA (285 miles):
Drive to Nigde. Visit
Eskigumus Monastery, which is the only
monastery in Turkey with a smiling Virgin
Mary fresco. Lunch. Arrive Antakya. |

ANTAKYA / SAN LI URFA (205 miles):
Visit St. Peters Grotto, which is
the First Church in the world, and the
Mosaic Museum. Lunch. Drive to Urfa.

SANLI URFA / ADIYAMAN (65 miles):
Drive to Mount Nemrut. Lunch
en route. Once on top of the mountain,
watch the sunset from Nemrut by the statues
of the gods of the Commegene civilization.

ADIYAMAN / DIYARBAKIR / ISTANBUL (126 miles):
Drive to Diyarbakir
sightseeing tour of the city. Lunch. In the
afternoon, transfer to the airport for your
flight to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul and
transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at
leisure.
