T E R M S  &  C O N D I T I O N S ZEUS TOURS & YACHT CRUISES, INC. (ZEUS TOURS) AIR TRANSPORTATION: International Air Transportation is not included in the price of the tour (except for some tours as noted). If we issue air tickets, we reserve the right to substitute scheduled air carrier for whatever reason, even after ticket has been paid for. We are not responsible for changes in flight schedules or connecting flight times. Once tickets are issued, there is a fee of $100 per person for any change or cancellation. However, bulk and net fares are non refundable after ticketing has taken place. Domestic airfare on package tours is included, as specified in each tour. PRICE OF TRANSPORTATION AND/OR TOUR: The tour and optional tour prices are shown on individual itineraries. These prices are based on tariffs, exchange rates, and other costs at the time this was posted. We reserve the right to change these prices if circumstances demand. In addition, we reserve the right to re-invoice your reservation should an error be made in computing your package price. RESERVATIONS, PAYMENTS & OUR DOCUMENTS: Early reservations are suggested to ensure your choice of departure. A deposit of 25% per person is required and must be received by ZEUS TOURS within 7 days from date of confirmation, otherwise the reservation may be canceled. Final payment is due at least 60 days prior to departure. If reservation is made less than 60 days prior to departure, then full payment must accompany booking. Vouchers and required documents will be forwarded 20 days prior to departure if full payment is received. To defray processing fees there is a $15 document fee for every reservation. SERVICE CHARGES, TIPS AND TAXES: Service charges imposed by facilities abroad and taxes on rooms and food in hotels and restaurants are included. Tips on ships and for personal services are not included. Tips to shipboard personnel, local guides and drivers are customary and left at your discretion. ITINERARY CHANGES: Any change in programs after a booking has been confirmed is subject to a fee of $25 per person. Changes made less than 60 days prior to departure are also subject to any penalties or charges incurred. SEQUENCE OF ITINERARY: In some tours the sequence of events may change from the order shown. However, you will receive all the components indicated. You will get your exact routing from your travel agent or ZEUS TOURS prior to the tour departure. ITINERARY VARIATIONS: Zeus Tours constantly strives to improve itineraries and offer the best possible accommodations. If improvements can be made or unforeseen conditions beyond our control deem changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and substitute hotels and cruise ships. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Participants must be in possession of a valid passport and should obtain visas and health certificates where required. All requirements should be confirmed with appropriate government consulate or information office prior to departure. CANCELLATIONS: In addition to applicable cruise and air cancellation fees, on all cancellations received up to 60 days prior to departure, a $100 per person administrative fee will be charged. From 59 to 30 days prior to departure the fee will be 25% of the total cost of the tour and for 29 days or less, 25% or any fees imposed by hotels and cruise lines, whichever is higher (could amount to 100% of tour cost). All cancellations must be received in writing and no refund can be made for services not used once tour has commenced or for no-shows or early departures. CRUISE LINE CANCELLATION: In addition to above Zeus Tours & Yacht Cruises Inc. cancellations the following cruise cancellations apply: 44-30 days prior to departure 20% of total cruise fare 39-20 days prior to departure 30% of total cruise fare 19-10 days prior to departure 50% of total cruise fare 10 days or less 100% cancellation fees apply. All other cruise conditions as per the Cruise Line's brochure which can be obtained by calling the cruise line directly. REFUNDS: Claims must be made in writing to ZEUS TOURS, 209 W. 40th Street, NY, NY 10018, Tel 212/221-0006, within 15 days following completion of the tour, or no refund can be made. We regret not being able to issue refunds for voluntary absences from itinerary services including but not limited to meals and/or sightseeing. If you accept a refund, you waive all other rights and remedies under applicable law. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks to process your claim. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Accommodations will be provided in twin-bedded rooms, as listed in itineraries, with private facilities, according to government standards and classifications. However, during peak season it may be required to substitute a hotel of similar quality and category. In such case, the best available hotels will be used. EXCURSIONS AND SIGHTSEEING: All tours, as specified in the itineraries will be provided by deluxe motorcoaches or local conveyance and escorted by English speaking guides. Entrance fees to places of interest are included in the tour cost. Shore excursions while on cruises are optional. Tour and cruise schedules may vary. CRUISE ACCOMMODATIONS: In two-berth cabins with private facilities as shown in itineraries and depending on cruise ship used. Tips on board ships are left at the discretion of each passenger. REPRESENTATION/VALIDITY: Zeus Tours & Yacht Cruises, Inc. of the USA acts only as an agent for the hotels, cruise lines and tour companies whose products are presented in our brochures. This brochure is valid from January 1 1999 - December 31, 1999 or as specified in each tour. MEALS: Meals and snacks are served on all transatlantic flights. All other meals are indicated in "including" section of each tour. PHYSICAL DISABILITIES: If special treatment or attention is required due to physical disability, Zeus Tours must be notified at the time reservation is made. We reserve the right to decline, accept or retain any tour passengers whose health or condition renders them unfit for travel, in the opinion of Zeus Tours, or whose condition may be detrimental for that person or other passengers. Handicapped passengers who require any form of assistance must be accompanied by a helper who would be responsible for that passenger. BAGGAGE AND TRANSFERS: Baggage is limited to 2 checked pieces of which the total dimensions shall not exceed 106 inches and no one bag is to exceed 62 inches or 70 lbs. per person as per airline regulations. One carry on piece not to exceed 45 inches can be carried with you. For domestic flights within other countries, the baggage weight restriction is 44 lbs. Due to limited space, we recommend that only one bag per person should be carried on motorcoaches. ZEUS TOURS is not responsible for delay, loss of, or damage to baggage or their contents and baggage insurance is highly recommended. Transfer of passengers and baggage (one piece per person) between stations, airports, hotels, piers etc. are included per itinerary. INSURANCE: Baggage, health and trip cancellation insurance is available through your travel agent or ZEUS TOURS and is strongly recommended. NOT INCLUDED: U.S. transportation and overseas airport taxes, security charges, port taxes, meals not included in the itinerary, sightseeing, or services other than those specifically mentioned. In addition, tips to tour guides, drivers, porters, hotel and cruise staff and items of personal nature like excess baggage, passport, visa & vaccination fees, telephone calls, traveler's insurance are not included. RESPONSIBILITY: ZEUS TOURS: the tour operator and/or their agents act only as agents for the passengers in making arrangements for transportation, hotels, cruise, restaurants and all other services and cannot assume, except to the willful negligence of their direct employees, any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of default of any hotel, carrier, transportation agency, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour, or by an act of God. Further, no responsibility is accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, strikes, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government action or inaction, or other authorities de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, strikes, riots, weather or any other cause beyond their personal control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority. We reserve the right to cancel a tour or to alter, cancel or substitute services in itineraries without prior notice until time of departure and can accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses incurred due to delay, changes in schedule or other causes. We cannot be held responsible for your failure to obtain required documentation, including passports, visas and health certificates, where required, or for your failure to follow instructions including but not limited to check-in and check-out times and baggage handling. The airlines, transportation and steamship companies concerned, are not to be responsible for any act, omission or event, during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passenger contract in use by the airlines and steamship companies concerned when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the conveyance and purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The payment for a booking shall constitute your acceptance of the tour conditions set out above, subject to governmental, IATA, DOT and airline regulations in effect at the date of and during the tour. LATE BOOKING: A $25.00 late booking fee will be assessed for bookings made and/or paid within 15 days of departure. Express documentation and shipping additional. TRAVEL AGENT'S RESPONSIBILITY: The travel agent is responsible for providing information to you, verifying all documents and information, and ensuring you understand all of the policies, fees and requirements you are subject to.
