Depart the USA on overnight flight to Barcelona.

2nd Day |
Barcelona
Arrival at Barcelona airport and transfer to your centrally located hotel.
The balance of the day is free to explore this fascinating cosmopolitan city.

3rd Day |
Barcelona
Buffet breakfast. Morning tour of the Catalonian capital, including the
gothic quarter with its great cathedral, Montjuich and Pueblo Español.
Lunch. The afternoon is free. Perhaps take a stroll along the famous
Ramblas boulevard.

4th Day |
Barcelona - Pamplona - San Sebastian
Buffet breakfast. Depart to famous Pamplona, where each July the "Running
of the Bulls" is held. Later, continue to Spain's northern coast for dinner
and accommodations in charming San Sebastian.

5th Day |
San Sebastian-Bilbao-Santander
Buffet breakfast and departure to Bilbao, where there will be free time for
an opportunity to visit the fabulous new Guggenheim Museum (entry not
included). Later continue to the elegant coastal city of Santander.
Dinner.

6th Day |
Santander -Santillana del Mar - Santander
Buffet breakfast. Excursion to Santillana del Mar, a delightful medieval
village which is perfectly preserved. Return to Santander for dinner and
accommodations.

7th Day |
Santander-Burgos-Madrid
Buffet breakfast and depart south through the Cantabrian mountains to the
historical city of Burgos. Free time perhaps to visit the magnficent
cathedral containing the tomb of folk hero El Cid. Continue across the
plains of old Castille to Madrid. Accommodations.

Madrid
Buffet breakfast. Morning sightseeing tour of Madrid and its principal
avenues and monuments; Alcala Gate, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de España, and
Neptuno and Cibeles fountains. Afternoon free.

Buffet breakfast and transfer to Madrid airport.
